FHWien is a university of applied sciences for management and communication. Our main strength is certainly the high degree of real-world orientation we instill in our academic programs. At our Department of Communication, we offer Bachelor and Master programs for Journalism as well as Communication Management or Marketing and Sales – including programs taught in English for incoming students. With a professional television studio as well as a radio broadcasting station, FHWien provides its students and teachers state-of-the-art equipment in the production of high-quality content.
FHWien offers three different Journalism programs focusing on multimedia content production and high-quality journalism. More than 100 experienced journalists, media managers, media scholars and experts in new media support the department of Journalism & Media Management in the development and teaching of the degree programs, with currently around 270 students. This guarantees a lively exchange between students and media experts and a state-of-the-art journalism degree program.
