Journalism (The University of Georgia) program provides the highest standards of media education in Georgia – by means of implementing modern educational program. On the one hand, we teach practical side of journalism and media communications – from scientific point of view, critical thinking and ethical decision-making, as well as giving the students deep knowledge of the subject; and on the other hand, reviewing fundamental problems in nowadays – thus providing the students with fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Besides, we give the students opportunity to share the professionals’ practical experience in various fields, helping them to maintain habits of participating in social life.
The Journalism program provides innovative, healthy and amiable environment; asks for high ethical standards and requires the sense of responsibility and studiousness.
We aim at deepening the students’ knowledge in journalism and mass-communications, to make them participate in the discussions and various activities helping them become competitive on the labor market.
