The information that the Queen has signed the bill was published by the Russian news agency Interfax on September 9, 2019. It says that Queen Elizabeth II has approved the document that postpones the country’s exit from the European Union if there is no agreement with Brussels by October 31, 2019, which allows to go on with Brexit and leaving EU. This was announced by Speaker of the House of Lords Peter Fowler.
The Russian media say that Queen Elizabeth II approved the bill which requires head of the government Boris Johnson to ask Brussels to postpone Brexit if there is no agreement with EU. In order to factcheck this information we visited the official UK parliament website, then found «Parliamentary business» page and went on to «News» page. There is «European Union (Withdrawal) (No. 6) Bill proceeds to Royal Assent» article dated September 2019 which states that both houses agreed to the final edition and on Monday, September, 9 the bill went into Royal Assent stage which turns a bill into a law. According to the article, Royal Assent was held on Monday September 9. The act is called European Union (Withdrawal) (No. 2) Act 2019.
Conclusion: Thus we can conclude that the news published by Interfax news agency is true.
